SERTPO Releases Draft FFY 2027 Planning Work Program for Public Review
The Southeastern Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SERTPO) has released its Draft Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2027 Planning Work Program (PWP) and is inviting residents, community leaders, partner agencies, and stakeholders to review the document and provide feedback.
The Planning Work Program outlines SERTPO's transportation planning priorities, work activities, timelines, and funding for the period of October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. Developed by the Southern Oklahoma Development Association (SODA) and the Kiamichi Economic Development District of Oklahoma (KEDDO) in coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), the PWP serves as the annual roadmap for transportation planning efforts across the region.

Continued development and publication of the SERTPO Regional Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).

Expanded public outreach and stakeholder engagement activities.
Assistance to local communities pursuing Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and other transportation grants.
Regional planning for active transportation, including bicycle, pedestrian, and micro-mobility initiatives.
